Hello,
I have read previous posts on here over the last few months regarding admission to SPC's AS Nursing program. I applied for the fall 2013 semester. Are there any applicants out there who also applied? I am playing the waiting game. Do any previous applicants know how long it takes to hear if you are accepted or not, once the application window closes? Thank you:)
LOL...WOW! I think I am just going to play it safe and go to the HEC campus to get one.
Also, I dont know if this is of any help, or if it is the case for the Nursing Program, but I have a friend that said students that are paying their tuition that have Financial Aid is not due until sometime in late October...because that is when it is expected to come in.... Thats about all I know, sorry.
Help! Im a bit confused, I just received an email today saying Ive been approved to start the admission process for the fall program, I am/ was alternate number nine..Does this mean I got in? I guess I will have to call tomorrow.. It says I need to complete the background and drug test as well as attend orientation Aug,5... What do you think?
Congrats to the alternates who are getting in!
I'm getting loans as financial aid and they've been ready for me to accept for about a month (I'm waiting until Congress figures out the issue with student loan interest rates). I got a small scholarship as well, and that has already been deducted from what I owed for tuition/fees, and now my payment deadline is sometime in October. But I still need to accept the loans (or other financial aid) before I can get my HEC ID, so that my schedule of fees shows I've got money coming in.
If you applied for scholarships through the SPC Foundation, I think they are supposed to be announcing awards tomorrow.
Happiness is ... a positive measles titer.
Thank you SKFord713 and JenniferWarner! I am beyond excited!!!
Highway girl, that is hysterical! My titer results eliminated most of the immunizations I thought I was going to need. The only thing I need to complete is the rest of the Hep B series. Oh, and thanks for the information about scholarships. I am crossing my fingers!

I called Gibbs campus Learning Support commons and Registration and asked if they were able to print ID cards for nursing students and they responded with "I think we have an option for that".
