Spring 2011 UT Health Sciences Nursing Hopefuls

I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)

i cant believe i found this!! the junior league of houston offers free health care provider cpr classes. the class is nov. 19th at from 6-9pm. i had to reserve my spot and it doesnt say how many spots are available so if you are interested follow the link and reserve your spot. http://www.juniorleaguehouston.org/?nd=p_event&event_category=CPR

it does say nov. 29th and dec. 6th, so it might be 2 nights but for free i will do it!! im gonna call them a little later to see if its 2 monday nights or just one but either way its still the best deal i have found.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. All of these are much cheaper than most I have seen. The Junior League definitely beats them all. I signed up for the free Junior League session on 11/29 and 12/6. It looks to be 2 Monday night sessions from 6-9 pm at a church near Memorial. Great deal!

When will registration begin? Will finishing the CPR certification by Dec. 6 leave enough time for registration?

Mine will expire next year. I figure since I have the time to do it right now and also not having to worry about it while I am in school, I went ahead and signed up as well.
