I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)
I've been studying the Elsevier book, and the Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and A&P sections are all lumped together. For those of you who have already taken the HESI, was the test structured this way too?
UT-Houston doesn't require Chemistry, Biology, or Physics, so I was wondering if I can just skip those sections, or if they even appear on the test??
Hi Beebers,
I submitted my application on June 8 2010 and then on June 9, 2010 I submitted my transcript and it was on the UT Link after a few days. Although, I dont see my HESI A2 scores on the UT Link and I took my HESI on June 5, 2010 so it has been more than a month. Do you if you can your HESI A2 scores on your UT Link?

I don't see my HESI scores on UTLINK, but I emailed the admissions office. They said that they have them, but can't update UTLINK because my application is new. I took my HESI on June 30, 2010.
Thank you Beebers and Kitcait08 for your your responses. I have been going crazy that it was just me and that I might not even have a chance to get in. I have been really stressed out these past two months and I have found it difficult to concentrate on my last two needed classes to finish my prerequistes. Let me know how you and Kitcait 08 are doing through this long and painful process of waiting. Maybe we can help each other through all of this.
Thanks Again,
readyeddie :)

I submitted my application back in early June. I did have trouble submitting my application, but that was because I was using the wrong browser. I was using Safari for Mac, and when I hit submit, nothing happened. However, after I tried again using the latest version of Internet Explorer on a PC, I submitted it with success. A message popped up and said "thanks for submitting your application". So it might be a browser issue.
