Spring 2011 UT Health Sciences Nursing Hopefuls

I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)

Thanks for the CPR info! My GPA for science was 3.75 with my overall being 3.45. I don't remember my HESI score exactly but it was 95 ish overall and 880 on Critical Thinking (I think)

la porte ems also offers a class for $15 and it only takes about 3 hours

wow that is cheap, wish i went there... lol

does anyone know how they get their background check done? i went to the site and clicked on the background check for BSN students but it didnt sent me to this site that didnt seem to be giving background checks...?

and also, what are residency forms? where do we print them so we can fill them out?

When the acceptance letter come a packet will come with all your forms. You don't print them, they'll come:) more info on the background check will come too

I got in too! My prerequisites GPA is 3.9, science GPA is 4.0, and overall GPA is 3.75. On the HESI, I got 93.07%. I don't remember what I got on the critical thinking portion of the test, but it was in the upper 800's.

I have lots of extra holds!! Hopefully a good sign!:)

I got in too!! Yeah.. Steph, did your holds get updated after you checked them in the morning.....did they change throughtout today? My friend is waiting patiently, and I was just wondering.
