Spring 2011 UT Health Sciences Nursing Hopefuls

I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)

I am waiting until I know if I'm accepted. I did talk to an adviser about it and she told me we should have plenty of time from the time we found out if we were in. I hope it's soon though. I already have my CPR, so that is one less thing to worry about.

I finished all my shots and CPR certification. I'm also applying to UH-Victoria's 2nd Degree program, and they require you have all your shots and CPR card to submit an application. I already have my Hep B shot from my teen years.

Really you won't need all of the vaccines (I didn't even take my last hep B until after spring break) until late february/early march since you won't start clinicals until then.

I think they are over. I am new on the site, but I think I was at the same interview time as some of you (Sept. 15, 12:00). Now the stressing really starts!:uhoh3:

I know...it seems forever since the interview...I didn't apply to UTMB but their posts have been pretty busy, seems they're starting to receive notifications and the school is still interviewing...MAN UT is EVIL...they make us wait ForEver...lmao

I applied to both and have an interview with utmb on friday looks like its only taking about a week for decisions....

that's crazy that at UTMB they accept people before they even see all of the interviews.....what happens if they get to the last interviews and there are no spots left?! That would freak me out lol
