Spring 2011 UT Health Sciences Nursing Hopefuls

U.S.A. Texas

Published

I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)

it's great to know they extend the application! that makes it way easier to reapply. i am almost positive i want to do something working with infants/children. i have been bouncing back and forth between labor and delivery, nicu, or pediatrics. my goal is to hopefully work in a children's hospital.

omg katanator, we think the same lol.. i want to work in those area too ... nice nice :)

yea i use to hate mac but now that i use it all the time.. i cant stand pc anymore loll..

hey guys i have a stupid question but what do yall mean when you say "they extend the application"... someone please clarify for that for me :)

They roll over your application to the next entrance. You have to inform the admissions office that you want this to happen otherwise they wont do it for you.

I use a Mac as well and have no problems.

LindsayPaige - so do we inform them we want the application to roll over before we find out whether we're in or not....or afterwards?

I would do it afterwards.

Did anyone get accepted to A&M PV? I got in there but i dont think I want to go there..

you know. does anyone remember what the last computer question on the questionaire was? I was seriously laughing in my head when i saw all those questions.

the average person wont know how to do it.

Some were a bit silly. The one that stumped me was the drives. There are so many drives and how to open and download them. I listed as many as I could.

Hmm... I would say, but I don't want someone saying I'm giving candidates for later semesters an unfair advantage by listing the question here. I'm pretty sure it began with a pod and ended with a cast though.

uh... you mean drivers

that was the one i laughed at.

go to the manufacturer of the computer->support->downloads->enter model number

if it is a custom computer it is longer than that.

my father has been an computer consultant since i was like 8. so I been knowing how to fix computers since i was like 12.

Ahh screw it. It was something like do you know how to subscribe to a podcast. I think...

Wow, you got that specific? I think I just put get it from the manufacturer's website.
