Starting thread for TCC nursing students submitting application in a few weeks for the Spring 2017 semester ADN program. Personally, I have followed and watched and reviewed entrances over the year and it changes upon fall and spring semesters and the amount of applicants. I will be applying with two A's in A&P and Micro and a B in A&P2, so my GPA is a 3.6.... My first HESI score is a 87.5. I have seen acceptance with this, and have contemplated retaking HESI just to see if I do any different.
Comment and ask any questions and I hope to see you all in Spring!
Thank you! Well I agree, your GPA is great!
Not sure if directed to me or someone else. Im learning this post and forum thing. Ill be submitting package this week with 3.6 GPA hesi of 90 and critical thinking 950. So I hope I am safe there in my scores. Did anyone submit titers for their immunizations? And did you have doctor sign off still?
OMG guys, I am so nervous right now. This is going to be the hardest waiting period. I feel like I have really worked so hard, dedicated myself and have made so many sacrifices to get to this point and not have a feeling of confidence. I know my potential is better than my results on the HESI. The worst part is I am unable to locate a site to retest in such short notice to submit by the deadline. I am already looking into my next options..I need advise on how to stop thinking and wondering, anticipating the verdict..

I am already looking into my other options as well. I think we just need to stop overthinking it. What will be, will be and all we can do is wish for the best! And if that doesn't happen, just try harder.

At the information session they said if u have below 90 try to take again for the best chance. If you have time id say go to another college and take it again! It doesnt hurt to try! Thats just what they told us there. I had an 87 on first score taken at Chamberlain back in Dec but it also tested allllllllll sections so it was way harder and more time consuming. So might as well do it again and see what u get and choose the best out of the two!
