Spring 2017 TCC Nursing Students

Published

Starting thread for TCC nursing students submitting application in a few weeks for the Spring 2017 semester ADN program. Personally, I have followed and watched and reviewed entrances over the year and it changes upon fall and spring semesters and the amount of applicants. I will be applying with two A's in A&P and Micro and a B in A&P2, so my GPA is a 3.6.... My first HESI score is a 87.5. I have seen acceptance with this, and have contemplated retaking HESI just to see if I do any different.

Comment and ask any questions and I hope to see you all in Spring!

Thank you! Everyone's scores look good. Hopefully this is it for us all this time around :)

Haha hopefully so! :) I really am surprised that more people aren't commenting! I'm just waiting for my a&p 2 class to be over! Only 2 more weeks and then I can apply!

Me too! Compared to previous threads/application periods, this is dead lol.

Great! I'm sure you're looking forward to being done. The summer sessions are intense! Best of luck, finish strong!

I still need a passport photo taken and to get my immunizations signed off on.

Thank you! It's so stinking stressful! I have my immunizations signed off, but I for sure need the picture. I also need to complete the whole packet :blackeye: do you know if we fill out the form that says for office purpose only?

Hello guys! I have just joined the tread, looking to see if my scores will be competitive enough. I must say I am a little nervous. I have an A in Micro and A&P II and a B in A&P I.. My Hesi score was an 85.5, which was a little disappointing, I was hoping to score higher. I scored a 84 in reading -86 grammar - 92 vocabulary - and the worse 80 math.. My critical thinking was 760. which I though was pretty darn good until I saw sores like 850 and 950. You guys rock!! It would be great to be in a class of scholars. I submitted my application yesterday right after I received my HESI scores.. Now just waiting and praying.. Good luck to everyone.. hopefully we are all excepted.

Congrats on your Results. I took my HESI on Aug 08 also.. The 9am session. I was so nervous.. my over all was a 85.5 with a 3.67 GPA.. So hopefully it's competitive enough.. good luck, your sure to get it with those awesome scores.

I think you have a good shot at getting in! Your GPA and HESI scores are good!! :)

Hi guys! Am joining this thread as well. I will be submitting my application this week. I have an A in Micro and B's in A&P. My HESI scores are: 82 in Reading, 88 in Grammar, 96 in Vocab, and 90 in Math . Overall grade 89% and a 900 in Critical Thinking. I am also thinking of taking A&P 1 again this coming semester if I am not selected in this round.

Such good scores everyone! I'm not so sure about my chances of getting in...but might as well try!

That's exactly how I've been feeling! I basically just want to fast forward to the part where we find out if we are accepted! This wait is going to kill me.

I went ahead and filled it out but I'm going to print a blank one as well, just in case. That way I can submit whichever is correct with the packet when I go up there haha

Specializes in Surgery.

Hi everyone! Im so sorry been super busy in surgery this past week!

My surg tech program I went to was in Orange County, CA at CNI career college back in 2008.

So proud to see everyones scores! Good job! I went to the information session last week...getting everything finalized to submit package this week or beginning next. Is anyone doing a titers lab for all their immunizations?
