Spring 2017 TCC Nursing Students

Published

Starting thread for TCC nursing students submitting application in a few weeks for the Spring 2017 semester ADN program. Personally, I have followed and watched and reviewed entrances over the year and it changes upon fall and spring semesters and the amount of applicants. I will be applying with two A's in A&P and Micro and a B in A&P2, so my GPA is a 3.6.... My first HESI score is a 87.5. I have seen acceptance with this, and have contemplated retaking HESI just to see if I do any different.

Comment and ask any questions and I hope to see you all in Spring!

Yes, I already took the UTA required courses. Intro to Nursing and Medical Terminology is an easy A. Pharm and Patho require a good amount of studying to get an A. If you can take them separate, do it. But they are do able taking together.

The time has seriously been flying! I'm so ready to find out!

Me too.

Wow, yes, time is flying. Has anyone learned how many applicants since the close of the application period? Not many people on this thread. Feeling pretty optimistic:yes:

I'm feeling a little optimistic too - but not as good as I will be when I actually see an acceptance email lol! Thankfully I'm keeping busy with work, school, and family.

I'm feeling the complete opposite of optimistic. But that's just unfortunately how I deal with things is expecting the worse..

I understand how you feel..I was feeling that way in the beginning, all anxious, especially after I saw I had the lowest Hesi scores on here, wasn't feeling very competitive.. But I prayed about it and I will be OK with either way. If not this term move on to my other options.. I really prefer to start now..but

This is what scares me the most. I am still praying about that... Thing will drastically adjust.. but hey, change is good.. I feel like this is the path I need to take.. Nursing has been my passion for many years, and excited to begin the steps to follow my dreams..
