Spring 2017 TCC Nursing Students

Starting thread for TCC nursing students submitting application in a few weeks for the Spring 2017 semester ADN program. Personally, I have followed and watched and reviewed entrances over the year and it changes upon fall and spring semesters and the amount of applicants. I will be applying with two A's in A&P and Micro and a B in A&P2, so my GPA is a 3.6.... My first HESI score is a 87.5. I have seen acceptance with this, and have contemplated retaking HESI just to see if I do any different.

Comment and ask any questions and I hope to see you all in Spring!

Hey Guys! I am joining this conversation one day before emails go out because I wanted to update you on info i just received. I have been keeping up with this blog since the very beginning. I applied to the program with a 94 hesi and a 3.7 gpa. I feel good about that but of course I can't feel the best until I see the email. That being said, I just got off the phone with the office and I asked if we would be getting the emails tomorrow. She told me verbatim "Well we are actually trying to finish it up right now, but they will most likely go out next week." So there is that! A little annoyed because I was looking forward to tomorrow but oh well, what can you do. Anyways Hey again and I look forward to seeing happy posts with good news next week! Good luck to all!

Hey Guys!!!

I would not be disappointed if you dont get an email tomorrow. More than likely it will be next week sometime and they dont send them out on the weekends. They normally send them out early afternoon. That is what I have noticed in the past (I applied three times). I know the wait is HORRIBLE but it will all be worth it. Once your accepted I would start looking for ways to get organized (a planner of some sort is a must) and make a FB group because that is where many people will sell their books or supplies and also post about swapping schedules once you receive them.

Checking your email everyday is a good habit to get into because you will get several emails a day starting abut 6 weeks before school starts. I would also suggest that as soon as you receive your boot camp email complete as much of it as you can. You will have a lot of due dates and then they will email you will something else and if you dont write it down or complete it immediately it can be easy to forget something and they dont like that at all.

Once you get accepted I know its exciting and you want to start working on things but take the time to enjoy yourself and relax. Once you start you will be very busy!!!!! I say that because its week 3 and I have 4 "test" due next week already. :(

Hi Y'all! Joining in super late because I didn't know this even existed before now! I've checked my emails about a million times today. I'm extremely on edge and anxious!!

I applied with a 4.0 in my sciences, 91.5% HESI and 870 critical thinking.

Whoever gets an email today PLEASE let us know!!!
