Spring 2022 Nursing Program at Suffolk county community college

Hello, all future nursing students! I am creating this forum early as I made the last forum for the FALL 2021 program. I found that this is very helpful for questions and to have a support system going through this journey. I am a current Suffolk student that is finished with all of the prerequisites except Micro. I planned to apply for the fall 2021 program but I did not get the grade I needed on the TEAS to apply so I am back at it! Never give up and keep positive! If anyone has any suggestions or helpful resources feel free to comment as this forum is for support! Thanks

Really? I'm gonna try this tmw morning then LOL I actually don't get paid till next Friday so hopefully thats enough of a reason

I feel like I’m not going to get in AGAIN..  so I’m obsessively checking emails hoping for a surprise .. I needed like 4 more points on my TEAS to feel better about this ..

I'm in the same boat as you! Which my rubric was a bit higher, not sure if I'll get in. Hoping for the best for us!

I was hoping being there is a push for more nurses everywhere that they would have opened more seats up but guess not ..

Wishing you both the best of luck. Don't give up! If the RN route isn't working at first, try for LPN and then bridge over. I was unable to get into the ASN program back when I tried because I made mistakes with A&P. I went to BOCES for the LPN program and I feel like I've gained so much knowledge and experience to help me go further. Fingers crossed for both of you!

I forward the school email to my real one, so it will just come to my phone! It’s so much easier LOL  trust me!
