Spring 2018 Nassau Community college nursing program

Whom else is applying for this Spring? How apprehensive do YOU feel about it? How are your stats?

HI, can I ask you how did you pass the TEASE test?

I purchased two TEAS books which had practice exams inside. I didn't do exceptionally well on it but I passed it. I got an overall score of an 78. The test itself isn't that hard, just make sure to study the WHOLE book. Brush up on math if you haven't taken math classes recently. Hope this helps.

Hi guys, I'm planning on applying to NCC for fall 18 semester. Any tips on the teas exam?

Is it only English reading and math? No science?

What are your grades for your pre-nursing class. Yes NCC only needs reading, English and Math. Remember also that ASN is no longer accepted for NY. Where the Governor sign a bill that all should get there BSN. So think of where you want to go first. Teas have lots practice questions online on YouTube. Good luck future Nurse

Hi, there are a lot options to get BS after ASN. The NCC program has highest passing score then Adelphi. You can check on NYSED website. The TEASE - I did not find the test so hard to pass, except - timing, not enough time for me. I purchased the preparation kit from ATI website. It was expensive (over $200) but gave me a lot tips.

Hey guys, where did you guys find out about nursing program at Nassau becoming a four year program? Because I recently heard about this in class the other day and that would ultimately save me money from transferring to another school if I ended up getting into the associate program, if that makes sense

Where did you find out info of the bsn program? I recently heard this from a student in one of my classes and if this is true that would mean I don't have to transfer again

You can go to NYU with those grades, just AcE the entrance exam!!! Good job

Did you get into the program ? I applied for fall 18

Hi I'm new to the forum , so just to clarify

Once the lincese is granted we have 10 years to get the BSN? Also wishing you good luck for the fall , I just applied for fall at NCC , What's the process for Suffolk ?

If you want to apply to Suffolk and don't live in Suffolk County, then don't bother. It's a waste of time. As for BSN in 10, yes, you have 10 years to obtain your BSN from the date you officially become licensed.

Hi thank you :) certainly saves me the time ! I anyone got into the NCC program recently what were your scores ? I calculated mine is coming out to be about 130 .
