Spring 2019 Lone Star Hopefuls

I've decided to make this page for anyone applying for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Lone Star CF/K. I'm so nervous and it's still kinda far away! Good luck!

Not trying to alarm anybody but, did anybody get an email from identogo regarding fingerprinting? I'm thinking it's the preliminary run for a different school but wasn't sure. (they do a background on all qualified applicants from my understanding.)

It doesn't specify the school that originated the background check/ fingerprint request so I am just curious.

I did apply for three different programs, one of which its awaiting further documentation from me.

The only new emails I'm seeing are 50% off books and $1000 essay writing contest lol it may be from a different school. My email is dry as the Sahara Desert.

I know Kingwood requests a background check after students are accepted for a clearance by the Board of Nursing when initially accepted into the program, and another clearance before taking boards. I petitioned the Texas Board of Nursing before applying, because I was with some friends who were apart of a massive rival football brawl in college at a bar almost ten years ago.

The clearance from the BON can take up to six months, but I found it to work rather quickly when you fax in your information than send it certified or snail mail.
