Spring 2019 Lone Star Hopefuls

I've decided to make this page for anyone applying for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Lone Star CF/K. I'm so nervous and it's still kinda far away! Good luck!

Hi guys! I am new to allnurses, I just discovered this website this week when I was trying to figure out old information about past admissions. I applied to CF/KW with a score of 7.219 (pretty much nothing compared to these stellar scores!). I drove/moved to Houston literally 1 day before Hurricane Harvey occurred (what a welcome, geez lol). I looked into LSC's program when I moved here to make sure that I had most of the pre-reqs done, but I did not apply right away because I wanted to establish my residency first to save money on tuition. Sending lots of good lucks to everyone, and I hope that all of us will be able to make it in. :)

This is me, lol. After how worked up I was yesterday, I'm turning my mind elsewhere.

That & I got an email from SHSU about needing to correct some immunization paperwork so I'm scrambling to get that all accomplished by Monday!

Yes I was bummed lol not today! But get all your paperwork in. I was waiting to apply for 2 other programs until I found out if I get into this one. Now I'm thinking maybe I need to apply now, there's no telling how long until we know for this one.

Yeah, I applied to three programs and figured if I get accepted to more than one I'll choose the one that works best for me, if I only get accepted to one that's where I'm meant to go!

I'm having to track down childhood doctors in the state of Georgia which is a bit challenging, but I am working hard to get it all done and emailed back to the school for consideration.

Not trying to alarm anybody but, did anybody get an email from identogo regarding fingerprinting? I'm thinking it's the preliminary run for a different school but wasn't sure. (they do a background on all qualified applicants from my understanding.)

It doesn't specify the school that originated the background check/ fingerprint request so I am just curious.

I did apply for three different programs, one of which its awaiting further documentation from me.
