Spring 2019 Lone Star Hopefuls

I've decided to make this page for anyone applying for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Lone Star CF/K. I'm so nervous and it's still kinda far away! Good luck!

I know Kingwood requests a background check after students are accepted for a clearance by the Board of Nursing when initially accepted into the program, and another clearance before taking boards. I petitioned the Texas Board of Nursing before applying, because I was with some friends who were apart of a massive rival football brawl in college at a bar almost ten years ago.

The clearance from the BON can take up to six months, but I found it to work rather quickly when you fax in your information than send it certified or snail mail.

Yeah I got my letter from the BON from my petition back in April. So I don't know if I will get that email since I've already done all the fingerprints and stuff. Although I'm sure they'll make me do it again once accepted.

I'm wondering, if you did a fingerprint with Identogo for the Kingwood LVN program this summer would you have to do another one?
