Spring 2011 Hopefuls!!

Everyone, Hello,

This thread is created for anyone who is applying for a 2011 Nursing School Program! We can await our fates together. I think that waiting is going to be the hardest part! I am applying to a Community College for an ADN RN program. Applications are due Sept. 20th and we should know by early Novemeber!! My school just told me that they may also consider a math class that I took (with a higher grade) over College Algebra, which would significantly raise my GPA! I am hopeful!! Where is everyone else applying and when will you potentially find out?!

So excited for everyone!! Wow, so many CONGRATS are in ORDER!! I can't wait to hear all about your programs!! They said that the Letters for my school should go out this week!! My fingers are crossed so bad it Hurts! I know this week will creep on by, until I get the letter!! And I hope my news is as Great as all of yours!!! Thank God the wait is almost over, eaither way!! CONGRATS AGAIN TO EVERYONE--Your hard work has finally paid off :)

I GOT MINE TODAY!!! Thank you so much for everyones Support, this thread has really help me get through the waiting!! You all are wonderful!! So happy to have gotten in to my school of choice :) I feel like I am litterally floating!! Congrats to everyone, and Good Luck to everyone who is still waiting to here!!

I am moving to Camp Pendleton in January. Taking a road trip next week to do a school tour and to take the 12 minute exam at the Kaplan Vista campus. Is anyone else planning on attending Vista in February?

Me too! Maybe we'll hear by Friday! I just finished my last prerequisite this summer. There is a good chance I won't get in because of that. So... I've prepared myself either way. Yet, it is hard not to have a tiny bit of hope ;).

Same here w23peace - I just finished all my pre-req's this summer too, which means I may not getting...but can't help to hope : )

Imagine, if we get in - in 2 years we will have our Bachelor's!

I'm so excited!!

People last years starting getting their letters on Nov 6th...

Hello fellow SSC/UCF applicants. I also applied for Spring as well. This wait is horrible. I am still taking some classes this semester towards my AA, and I am finding it difficult to even focus on those. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us! Please share with us when you find out something one way or the other.

Does anyone know how many openings for concurrent SSC/UCF students there will be? I wonder how many of us applied? When I looked up the first class it had only 90 seat available. Concurrent and straight SSC students will have to share these seats, right?

As I remember, they told me total of 100 seats would be available - 70 of those seat would go to SCC/UCF Concurrent and 30 will go to the RN program alone.

Last year they had a little over 300 applicants...wondering how many applications they got in this time..
