I know the semester is not over for everyone, but for those of you who are done, what did your grades come out to be this semester?
Be proud, I know many of you have worked hard, and despite all odds have came out on top!
This semester I made:
Microbiology: A
A&P II: A
Dev. Psychology: A
I am relieved that the semester is over, taking two major sciences at one time is hard but it can be done! Congrats to everyone!
Hello! and congrats to everyone who has worked hard this semester...those are some good grades!!
This semester I took four classes:
A&P 2-A
A&P2 Lab-A
College Algebra-A
Human Growth and Dev.-A
I think I am now officially considered a sophomore!! I have completed 23 sem. hours...and I'm happy to say that so far...I've been able to keep my 4.0 (Hope I can keep it up!) Good luck for everyone taking summer classes!
Glad the semester is over! My only grade posted so far is for Intro to Med Dosage Calcuations. I'm pretty sure about the other two after taking the finals.
A&P 2 = A
Perspectives on Death and Dying = either A or B (was teetering in between before final)
Intro to Med Dosage Calculations = A
Taking Intro to Government during the summer. Still have to work and my sons daycare is only open so many hours in the summer. Next semester is Intermediate Algebra and Microbiology. Looks like I will be reviewing and gearing up my chemistry and Math skills this summer . CAN'T WAIT FOR SUMMER SESSION AND THEN CAMPING VACATION!
Microbiology: A
Government: A
Nutrition: A yeahhh!
I had to drop my english course since it was online and I just couldnt do an english class online...big mistake! Oh well, i'll have to retake later!
Good luck in the summer everyone! I will be taking Pharmacology and I will not be taking anything else with that... im tooo scared LOL since I hear its a lot of work and memorization!
I spend the first two weeks of class sizing up the professor. If I feel for any reason that my best-A work will be sabotaged by a bad professor, I will drop the course and take it again next semester with a different professor...
Got a B-, the lowest grade so far in nursing school. I am a little disappointed simply I had a horrible instructor who only read the powerpoint to me. I spent hours trying to understand the materials. She gave one exam, only one person passed out of 20. She ended up curving the exam, in which I ended up passing. Her exam questions were almost impossible to get right. She was using numerous sources, the book would say something different from her notes. The whole class was frustrated. I felt I could have gotten an A if I had a different instructor. Anyway, I passed, moving on to Meg Surg 4.
Check your professor on some site like ratemyprofessor.com or ask other students who've already taken the class (if possible) who is the best instructor.
Use the first week or two of class to evaluate the professor. If I feel that my best work will be sabotaged by a bad or unfair professor, I'll drop the course.
This isn't to say that I'm looking for the easy A or the least amount of work; far from it. The best professors I've had are the ones that gave me tons of work and pushed me beyond my breaking point. But I do need to trust that their grading is fair and that I will get an A if I do A work. I also need a professor that will teach me the way that I learn best. When I'm in doubt, I drop the class and retake it next semester with another professor.
Just a quick question, well kinda...I am taking A/P1 this summer. This is the only class that I am taking because I would like to make a A. What are your secrets?
I just want a A but that is a difficult class, I have heard...any input?
