2020 Spring Enrollment for Nursing (Hillsborough Community College)

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello,

I know some of us were discouraged to find out that we didnt get in for Fall. The cut off was the highest theyve ever seen and some were shocked to find out their true pre-req GPA. We have another chance to accomplish our dream of becoming an RN and I am hopeful we will all get in for Spring. Historically it is an easier semester to get into, last GPA cutoff for 2019 Spring was a 3.381 so there is hope. If you dont mind posting GPA and TEAS and when youve submitted the app. Round 2, lets go!

Pre-req GPA- 3.514

TEAS-67

Havnt submitted just yet, but i will be soon!

For those who were admitted into the program please note a new promo code was emailed this morning for the CPR course.

Things come up, people may decide to go somewhere else so I’m sure at least one person will decline or change their mind...it may even be me if I get excepted at my first choice but unfortunately I won’t know until the 25th.

Question! For those of you that were accepted, congratulations! Can someone please tell me if there is a deadline you need to either accept or deny your acceptance by? I am alternate status and would like to know when to expect a response! Thank you ?

I wouldn’t stress! I’m sure you’ll get a spot. Out of all the people accepted, at least 1 won’t take their seat, or will change their mind, or not get their documents done on time.

Cohorts 1, 2, 4 & 5 Class days range from 2-3 days a week. Class and clinical hours can be 15-16 hours a week. In some courses additional days and hours may be added.
-Cohort 3 It is 2-3 days a week beginning at 5 pm. Time will vary depending on the course and semester. Clinical is on Saturday, for 8-10 hours. Lab, Simulation or class-related activities may be scheduled on an additional evening or Saturday. Time or day may vary according to type of clinical assignments.
-All simulations are at the Dale Mabry Campus regardless of your campus assignment.

This is great info Niqua. I am in cohort 2.

Who isn’t taking their cpr through the school? Are you purchasing the manual? Trying to get my date set up

I’m taking it through HCC I’ll read some of the manual but honestly I’ve taken a course before and reading a manual is not needed

I’ve taken cpr before but not bls, so I wasn’t sure if I would need the manual. I was hoping to take it oct 12 but ordering the book- it wouldn’t be here on time
