I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!
If anyone is still looking for a good place to get their CPR certification done, I just got mine at Texas Heart CPR Training.. It was $35 and they have a location in Dallas and one in Plano. The instructor was great, I'd highly recommend them.
I took mine there too! It was great. I went to Plano.
Because its been 10 years since I had A & p I had alot of reviewing to do. I'm thankful I was granted a waiver but I basically crammed a whole 2 semesters of reviewing down in 2+ months. I'm glad im a stay home mom right now or I wouldn't have had enough time. It was still very difficult chasing a baby around lol
Just got back from hesi. I made a 94 overall. But I have a question. I made an 86% on the reading comp section. But on the score sheet its divided out into subsection like understating, ect ect and my % for conclusions was 66%. Does that mean I have to retake the test. I know the application information says you must make a 70% on each of the 5 sections which I did but this 66% on a subsection of the reading comp has me worried. Can anyone help me please!!?
Okay so I took my HESI and I didn't do as well as I wanted but this is just the first time.
MATH-pretty much like the book. Measurements and conversions of fractions and percents. KNOW YOUR CONVERSIONS AND MEASUREMENTS. I pretty much failed because I couldn't remember them.
ENGLISH-has always been easy for me because its my strongest subject but I could've done better. Know how to find a conclusion at the end of a story. Vocab was easy for me as well. Just study as many words as you can, however, I did notice some of the words from the book on the test. Grammar I just touched up on in the book.
A&P-Didn't score as bad as I thought I would on it but working on it. Mostly things you learned from A&P1 I did notice that. So I'm going to try and retake the test in July right before the deadline. Hope this helped but send me a comment or private message if you need more advice on the hesi!!!!
Taking my Hesi on Tuesday. I haven't had a chance to study all that much, but going to see how I do. I figure I can at least see what I need to work on for my next test right before the deadline in July.
I'll be going by the doc for my 2nd round of immunizations right after the test. Just got to get my cpr certification soon and knock out this Nutrition class in Maymester.
Hopefully things are starting to come together!

I don't think it matters. If you're so worried about it, you can go see the dean at her office. She's will be more than glad to clear any concerns that you have. Hope you feel better:-) btw, that was a good hesi score!

hesi this saturday! I feel like I am going to vomit. I;ve been studying for 2 months. I just finished my fast track Govt class so I can focus soley on Hesi. HPRS 1202 and 1204 start next week! It sucks because I took 1204 in LVN school but it has a 3 year limit. Sorry to post on ya'lls thread but there isn't one for bridge RN. Wish me luck!
