Spring 2016 El Centro College/ NLC ADN

Published

I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!

That's great! Good luck! I wish you all the best!

I still have to take the hesi but so far I have 26 pts. I took all the rn to bsn classes needed to bridge at UTA.

That's really good latresha! Are you applying for the fall?

Yes I'll be apply for the fall.

I hope it's ok to ask. What campus did everyone choose as their first choice? Has anyone heard if either one is harder to get into?

I applied to both, but my first choice was El Centro. I want to say that El Centro filled up first. I think I remember someone that applied for this fall saying they got into Northlake but it wasn't their first choice. But I'm sure that can change every semester depending on where the top applications are located.

Well good luck to you ! I'm sure you'll do really well on your hesi!

Michael, I choose north lake as my first choice since it's closer to me. Did you apply fit the spring?

I did apply for the Spring 2016 semester. I chose Northlake as my first choice as well.

Cool! How many points did you apply with?

El Centro tends to fill up quicker as its the main campus.

So just an update for you guys! I have decided to go back to pursuing nursing---but not here in Dallas. I will be pursuing mine in Indiana (I have many reasons on why I changed states) but I'm not giving up on my dream. Hows everybody holding up during this nail-biting time? Keep us updated on what you're doing to prepare before nursing school.

Latreshacalvin,

are you applying with 26 points? Or are you taking more things to get more points?

does anyone know the min for the points for applying right now?
