Just wondering, seeing how competitive i am.... How many are applying to Spring 2010 at CSN? And what is your score? If you don't feel comfortable telling your score, just say if you are applying. I have heard that there arent many applicants this semester but also heard to the contrary, there are LOTS of applicants this semester. So I'm confused and just wondering how many are applying? I know not nearly EVERYONE who applied goes on allnurses.com, but just out of those on here, I was wondering who applied for full time spring 2010. Thanks!
No hot dogs that I know of, Rob? I think they are going for something a little more filling. Each year the NSNA officers are re-elected, and generally move up, out, laterally, or graduate. When that happens, they collaborate together on what to sell.
I met the treasurer today and she seems super great and not keen on losing money. So I have no idea if they used to sell a lot of hot dogs, or if they were vetoed. I met the president today too. Very Cool lady.
You all have definetly beat the crud out of this issue. I applied and tried to forget about it. When my call came, it seemed surreal. I did go on allnurses and read a whole lot but I do not remember it being quite this anxiety filled. We knew the calls would come at the end of April. I even forgot when the admissions person advised me they would be making the calls, I had to call back to find out.
I just finished my contribution to my group paper and I am going to bed. I have to finish up a nursing care plan, do a mid-evaluation of myself, and study for 2 exams tomorrow.
I also have my sons football game to go to and I have to go to the gym or I am going to sound all freaked out soon!
no hot dogs this year...sorry. we decided to go bigger and better. there will be bbq pulled pork and chicken sandwiches with a bag of chips of choice and drink of choice for $5. I think that is a great deal for a REAL meal, but that is my opinion. We will be cooking the food in a crock pot overnight to ensure it is of the best quality. Last year they did pizza and it wasn't all that great. There will also be baked goods like cookies, pumpkin bread, brownies, muffins, bagels, and things of that nature. See you guys soon!!!
Well now I'm very confused. A friend of mine moved across town a couple of weeks ago and called this morning to change her address with limited entry. She spoke to the main person there and was told that she would be notified by mail and that if she didn't hear anything by the second week of November to call back! Maybe we're not getting phone calls this semester?
Oh, key mo sabi, do not be confused. I hope she didn't change her address with the post office? It will be 3 weeks before she gets her mail. The new student orientation is on November 6th so I would advise her to go to the admission office prior to that date to verify if she does not get a phone call.
You will get a phone call. It is too close to new student orientation. Breathe sweet girl, relax, you got this. And if that doesn't work, take a xanax!!! lol!! lmao!!!!
Today was the worst clinical day EVER! my day sucked. :angryfire No, no prob with content. It is an instructor based problem. :imbar She has her favorites and I am her whipping dog. I can not take it any more. Now I am documenting EVERYTHING.
It does not seem to matter what I do or say, she is rude to me. But, the other girl can ask some of the most rediculous questions.... I am going crazy with boredom
but I am not allowed to do anything except sit there and listen........to endless......
I hope your wait to join me in my misery comes to an end soon with your call....
:paw::paw::paw:
Well Hello Everyone... This is my first time posting anything... you guys have been helpful...yet scared me more I think! lol I am so nervous I feel as if everything is waiting on this one call... I have never stared at the phone to ring so much since high school... when I was waiting for that ONE boy to call... lol Well I wish you all the best of luck and to everyone that gets in... GOOD LUCK!!!!
who knows? she may like you. I am not good at sitting still for hours on end listening to non essential... It is hard to pretend. I try to, I really do. But eventually, I am reading some pertinent material on my desk, or looking over something else. I am trying, really. But it is not like I am texting my friends, or talking to the next girl. If it is something I do not already know, I am all ears but, I have experience and it is very difficult to feign interest in a lot of the things-- We go off track, off nursing subjects-- ALL THE TIME. Personal stuff, stories. I have heard it all.....
And she is especially rude to me. I have tried to stay quiet, be a part of the conversation, be there, be invisible, nothing seems to please her. I came in today so positive and upbeat, so happy to be in my area of experience. UUUUGGGGGHHHHH!!!!
good night.
I will say a prayer for you to get a call...
