I applied for the third time to CSN for Fall 2010, and have been hearing they will call the last week of this month. I was just wondering what happens from there if you are accepted? I am going to be out of town for the whole end of this month and I don't want to miss anything like orientations, paperwork, drug screen, etc. Can someone who has been thru the program or in it now tell me how it works after you are accepted? This is all saying i DO get accepted...I am optimistic this time as I have a 29 this time and before i applied with 13 and then 24. But you never know, maybe everyone applied with exceptionally high scores. Just trying to prepare so if I'm accepted I am able to be there for everything I need to be there for.

Can people please just answer this question...did you apply for CSN Fall 2010 and how many points did you have? I posted this thread a long time ago and it turns into people talking about transferring from other states, etc. i just want to know if you applied and how many points. thanks! i applied with a 29.

I applied for Spring 2010 and was not accepted. My score was 24 but they said they only accepted two students with a score of 24 by lottery and there were 10 applicants with 24 so i just was not one of the lucky ones. ANyways, I finished my microbiology so now my score is 29. I just dropped off my application. Anyone else applying to Fall 2010 and what score/points do you have on the application? Thanks!

I am moving back to bremerton and hoping to get in the RN program. There are 14 possible points on the application, i believe. does anyone know about how many is a safe number to apply with? I heard a lot of people have all 14 points on the application and a lot of people have a 4.0 GPA. if thats the case i might be better off applying somewhere else. Any information is greatly appreciated.

I realized on the day they made calls that I had never changed my phone number with the limited entry office when I got a new cell phone. So I called to change my number, and she told me she couldn't do that because they were too busy that day. Then I asked if I got in, and she said no. I asked what the lowest points they accepted was and she said 24. I applied with a 24. So I asked why I wasn't admitted, DUH it was a lottery for those with 24 points. I guess my luck was not with me LOL. But some people are saying they were notified that they would be an alternate. She told me there were 10 students with a 24, and they had 2 spots left for 24 points. So that leaves 8 of us with a 24 and why would they only inform SOME people they were an alternate? I would think the fair thing to do would be to wait until people drop or decline and then choose from those 8 in a lottery style. I guess they have their system but it just seems unfair. I don't know everything, though. I'm just a little disappointed. This is my second time applying. I have all pre-reqs finished besides Micro, which I am taking now. I scored in the 99th percentile overall for my TEAS. I have been a CNA for 5 years and I even went to Medical magnet school. I have been doing jobs in the medical field since I was 16. It's frustrating because I know I'm ready and I feel like I'm more than qualified but I have gotten rejected twice already. I know I'll get in next semester, at least I would hope so with 29 points next time because I will have completed Micro. But now I have to retake the TEAS and go through this waiting game for the 3rd time! AHHH . Well congratulations and good luck to you all who were accepted! I wish you the best!

wow, im really worried then! i applied with 24. this is my second time. when i turned in my application, the assistant showed me the scores they accepted in the past and last spring it said they let in 26+. and before that (fall 2009) they let in people as low as 5 points! but i heard that was because they did the TEAS rather than the NLN and people weren't applying with the TEAS test, making their application incomplete. I am not sure what its like this semester, but i just figure all we can do is wait and see. i wouldn't be worried with a 27, honestly. i am worried with my 24, because i figure if they do let me in, i'm gonna be verrry lucky. hopefully there arent that many applicants! lol

Just wondering, seeing how competitive i am.... How many are applying to Spring 2010 at CSN? And what is your score? If you don't feel comfortable telling your score, just say if you are applying. I have heard that there arent many applicants this semester but also heard to the contrary, there are LOTS of applicants this semester. So I'm confused and just wondering how many are applying? I know not nearly EVERYONE who applied goes on allnurses.com, but just out of those on here, I was wondering who applied for full time spring 2010. Thanks!

Hello, I applied to Spring 2009 at CSN and was not admitted. I applied with a 13 which I now know is way too low. They informed me the lowest they accepted that semester was a 19. I applied in mid July for the Spring 2010 program after completing BIOL 224 and raising my TEAS score. My score is now a 24, but I have overheard people talking about having a 27 and 28. I am now very nervous because I thought I did way better this time, but still thinking it might not be good enough. Anyone have any idea if a 24 is still competitive? Thanks!
