Spring Classes

Does anyone know if they have posted what general education classes are offered for Spring 2013? I know where to find the nursing classes through 2014, but I haven't been able to find a posting for Spring 2013. Maybe they haven't. If they haven't does anyone know when to expect this to be released? I just like to plan and since I only have Excellence and 3 gen eds to complete I'd to have an idea on what is ahead. Thanks!

Yes a lot of us are worried because the order of the classes does matter for many of us who have spent hours plotting out courses to take at OU as well as other classes outside of OU. It is more than just disappointing. For some of us it could change our graduation date and future planning.

This school is jacked if this is true, and not just a glitch. I'm sure this will screw a lot of people up, as most people probably plan their entire college career around that schedule. There are a lot of issues, but this is way bigger than crappy classes. I emailed my advisor and I'm going to call the school tomorrow.

Hopefully one of us can get an answer.

yeah I saw this today as well. This puts my schedule into a crap throw if the schedule is right. Family was supposed to be offered the 1st week in Spring...it is now doubled in the the 3rd week...makes no sense to me. Im going to finish my nursing classes here but Ill def be doing my non nursing else where. OU just cant seem to get it together and it is more than frustrating.

I am really hoping that there will be a good outcome to this for you when you call tomorrow.

It seems that OU consider Fall and Spring classes to be just that. I think you can register for Evidence in January and take Stats in February because it is all in the SPRING semester. I don't think it is deemed session one and session two anymore as far as registration is concerned. That is why you can take 4600 before other nursing classes are finished. Hoping this will be the case for you.

Hey Everyone,

I take classes as an AIO student and I was able to register for two of my classes. I spoke with someone at OU and they said that the "Permission" thing is a glitch. They will hopefully have it straightened out tomorrow.

I sure hope they do get this fixed. I still have one more class to register for.

This question is for anyone who has taken exploring musical styles and/or diversity. How time consuming would it be if I took them together? I've never doubled up before in this program. Thanks for any advice.

I've taken Diversity. It isn't difficult. There are a couple of lengthy assignments, if it hasn't been changed. There is an emphasis on different cultures and you will need to find someone of a different culture early on.

I just got an email from Ohio U that not only was acknowledging the technical problems, and also said that they will be scheduling courses as originally planned.

I just got another email about this. If any of you already tried to register like I did, you will have to do it again once they fix it. No time on when the registration will be back up. But these are only for NRSE courses.

Anyone here know it they offer an intercession or accelerated online class for the junior composition class? I have looked online. I called Wright State and they do not offer one. Any suggestions? I called OU today and complained about not offering a 5 week class for jr. composition class in the spring. I can see that I am not the only one that feels this way. I will have to also take two classes at a time this spring. The program is suppose to be for "working RN's" with the key word working. I thought the last ten weeks were difficult with work, family, and all the other responsibilies that each person has. No breaks between the classes and no break for Thanksgiving. The next 15 weeks with be awful but I will do what I need to, to succeed.
