  1. I felt statistics was one of the best classes offered by the RN to BSN online program. The professor knows that there many anxieties surrounding this class and offers many tutorials and examles. The class is set up for you to succeed. Hope this helps!
  2. Yesterday I figured that I could take my already the semester long business communication class that I am already enrolled in. Then take an 8 week Growth and Development class through Rio Salado from 1/7-3/1 and then another 8 week class at Edukan for cultural anthropology from 3/18-5/4. I haven't checked with my professor to see if these would transfer. This is my back up plan if I don't get into the child and adolescent class that has just opened up at OU. Just thought I'd post my idea in case anyone else was trying to figure out plans and back up plans.
  3. They have opened a growth and development class, only 15 spots. You do need permission for the class. I called the nursing department and they said to email the professor. Hope this helps.
  4. For those of you needing growth and development they have opened up a few spots for a full semester class. It is permission only. I called the department of nursing and they stated I needed to e-mail the professor. Just thought I'd pass this along.
  5. I just checked the Spring 2013 offerings. Looks like all STATS classes have expanded and are now OPEN!! Hope you see this and are able to register for the one you need!
  6. thank you so much for these suggestions.
  7. What is it called? I haven't seen that one.
  8. It appears that there are several people who's plans to graduate have been messed up in light of the (late) release of the spring 2013 schedule. I am personally NOT happy that business communication is only offered as 15 weeks and growth and development is not offered at all. Does any one have any suggestion on where I could take an ONLINE growth and development class? I'd also prefer to not have to take fashion and culture, any recommendations on where to take cross cultural perspective ONLINE. I'm sure I'm not the only person with this issue, so if you have a need to take a gen ed class and want a recommendation go ahead and post!
  9. Has anyone heard anything about growth and development? It was offered this fall and I think this summer also. I haven't seen anything about it for Spring (of course!). I emailed my advisor on Thursday and haven't heard anything from her regarding this, as well as other question- if they were ever going to offer a 5 week business communication class. So annoyed. I might be looking somewhere else for general education classes.
  10. This is the reply I got: The RN-to-BSN course offerings for Spring Semester should be available sometime today, Tuesday, October 30th. They will be listed in the Quick Links section of the RN-to-BSN Student Knowledge Center, next to the Fall Course Offerings. If not, we are hopeful they will be up tomorrow. I received a response in about 20 minutes from sending the original email. I am very relieved to get a quick answer! Hopefully we will be able to see the schedule soon!
  11. I sent an email to my advisor today. Will let everyone know what I find out!
  12. Thank you so much for this little insight. I'm hoping they add a few more to this before it is all said and done. I didn't see a growth and development class, which I need, and I am also hoping they add a 5 week business communications class as I know they have done this in the past.
  13. Does anyone know if they have posted what general education classes are offered for Spring 2013? I know where to find the nursing classes through 2014, but I haven't been able to find a posting for Spring 2013. Maybe they haven't. If they haven't does anyone know when to expect this to be released? I just like to plan and since I only have Excellence and 3 gen eds to complete I'd to have an idea on what is ahead. Thanks!
  14. Thanks! I just went ahead and started the discussion board, hoping that as I went along I'd figure it out. Once I read 210-211 it made more sense! Thanks for the help! Now if only I could figure out what kind of design the article that they provided is!
  15. Yeah that was the part I was talking about. I wasn't sure how much I was allowed to post on the message boards about the assignment. The directions are definitely clear as mud and the grading rubric is a joke, it doesn't state any specifics related to this discussion board.
