SPC students applying for fall 2017??

I know this is pretty early but i just finished my pre reqs for nursing and im on the border but I seriously CAN NOT wait to apply in march! Ill be finishing my AA if i dont get in.. so i will apply again if that happens but fingers crossed it wont! 3.766 gpa for application.. are you all excited?! Congrats to who got in last semester by the way! What how do you all feel at this point in time? Im feeling a huge accomplishment coming! --:nailbiting::nurse::nailbiting:

I thought i read that sonewhere i am cutting honework short if i keep working full time but i guess it can be done.

You just have to be available during those time frames. It's always different. My first semester I went 3-9/10 clinical and mondays were like 3-530 and Thursday's were 3-630 or something. Just depends on your instructor.

Just a heads up, you can order your skills kit through the SPC bookstore and have it sent to whatever campus is closest to you...Not just the HEC. I'm not a fan of their bookstore so I avoid it at all costs.

Do you guys know if you absolutely need the titers, or is a copy of all the immunizations sufficient?

If your immunizations haven't expired, you don't need titers. I wish that was the case for everyone.

I don't think it really matters what brand or color you buy. Just as long as it's a decent stethoscope because we'll be using it for our exams. I bought the 3M Littmann lightweight version in lilac.

You're welcome! I actually bought mine on amazon. You can buy them at Scubs N Stuff, but I found them much cheaper online.

Does anyone know what section of skills kit to order? There appears to be 6 to 8 different section numbers that you can choose from.....
