SPC students applying for fall 2017??

I know this is pretty early but i just finished my pre reqs for nursing and im on the border but I seriously CAN NOT wait to apply in march! Ill be finishing my AA if i dont get in.. so i will apply again if that happens but fingers crossed it wont! 3.766 gpa for application.. are you all excited?! Congrats to who got in last semester by the way! What how do you all feel at this point in time? Im feeling a huge accomplishment coming! --:nailbiting::nurse::nailbiting:

Just a heads up if you go this route, plan for a 2 hour appointment, it's a teaching clinic that has a contract with spc so they are interns and literally do everything from head to toe except a pelvic exam...

I'm okay with that. My insurance ends the 31st and I don't want to chance them not charging my insurance company until after that date.

I tried calling the number you gave, it had a weird voice message.

You can google "In pulse CPR" they have a bunch of classes at various locations, there is also a company called CPR Buddy, they are located in downtown St. Pete, this is the one I used a few years back, it's a small house-like location but the lady was cool and I'll most likely go there again (plus it was only 3 hours instead of 4). Just be sure that wherever you go they are endorsed by the American Heart Association and the course you choose is Basic Life Saving for healthcare providers (BLS).

They closed at 3pm.. they open tomorrow at noon till 7pm. Im sorry i dont have information on the cpr.. i already have my BLS(basic life support) and we get it through work..

The instructor name was Tiffany Gardner. Mine has been uploaded and accepted already. Hope this helps :)

Hey everyone! I've been creeping on this page for a while now...finally got the guts to comment. :D

I will also be joining you guys this fall. Unfortunately, I won't be meeting you guys at orientation. I'm leaving for Cuba on the 13th...a vacation I planned because I was expecting to get into the nursing program so I wanted to get my party on beforehand! I'll be going to orientation on the 25th instead. Looking forward to meeting you guys!!!

By the way, Peaches, what happened to you... the whole computer gliche... really messed up. But I appreciate how you didn't get sad or upset about it. You just wanted the problem resolved/explained. I respect your reaction. Lesson learned: don't be too quick to assume. Congrats on getting in!
