Happy 4th everybody!!!

I have a question, if we go to 2 different places to get our physical and titers, should we just print the form twice? There is only space for one practitioner to sign so I think that is what I'm going to do, whoever does the physical can sign one copy and whoever does the titers sign the other copy... What do you guys think?

I printed 2x copies. I figured i could have one dp ome and the other do one or ill give the second doc an option to sign the bottom maybe? I dont know..

Are we supposed to upload all of them because one were supposed to bring to orientation. I have them printed and sitting in a folder with other things..

I've done the same! Never hurts to have a copy on hand :)

Hey guys, I am level 3 so if you have any questions I can answer. And you do not need to bring your immunizations and titers with you on orientation. The only paper you need to bring is the form you got in your email where you agree on your background check. That is all. Your signature page you will get from school later. Every titer and immunization needs to be uploaded separately from your physical in required boxes in castle branch. Your flu vaccine you can wait to get until it is available, I think it is the end of august or beginning of September. If you do not want to do 2 step PPD you can go to health dept. and do blood test for TB, I forgot the name of it, but health dept. will know when you explain it to them. You will need to buy uniforms from scrubs and stuff, they have it with SPC logos. I only bought 2 pairs and it was enough for me. Socks and shoes have to match, shoes can be blue, white, or black, no other colors. You will need penlight, stetoscope, watch, and skills kit from college. Do not buy packet with books, to expensive. Cheaper to buy old edition, or even 2 editions back, it is all the same. Just make sure chapters match when you study. The only thing you will need to buy from bookstore it is the skills kit, access code for Elsevire (it is like practice questions thing), Sim chart ( simulated chart you will use it all the time) and that is all. DO NOT buy lab book, it is a waste, I bought it, never used it, used labsonline.org instead. Have Davis's drug guide, can be older edition, does not matter. The only other book you can buy from bookstore is Nursing Diagnosis book. Very useful, cannot be without it. Workbooks can be bough used, they just help you to study. As far as recommended books, the only good ones are "Success" books, they come for each subject: Ped success, med-surg success etc. It is just practice questions, you can buy used ones. I have hardly used them, but I am LPN-RN transitional, so it was easier for me. My son, who is in traditional program used them a lot. And this Castle branch thing you will have to buy again next summer, it will be modified package, will cost about 150 dollars and will include background, drug test , TB test, flue shot and a paper signed buy you that your health is OK (no physical again!!!). If you have any questions, ask away!

So we upload the 3 pages for each titer section or just that paper with that titer information?

Also, i think this was asked already but can we take a picture and upload it or does it have to be scanned? I havent started uploading documents yet..

I scanned it, in pdf file. As far as for immunizations I got a separate paper with all my immunizations on it with dates and scanned it every time. That is what they told me to do. I had my physical for free at SPC college at DO school part of it and they did not fill immunization part, instead I got paper with all my immunizations on it and scanned it separately. I do not know if it is the only way though. Call castlebranch support and ask they will tell you.

So you didn't do titers?
