I've been active on a different thread for people who applied to St. Petersburg College's Nursing program starting in August 2018. I made it on the alternate list (still completing Microbiology-finals tomorrow!), but have decided, with the help of an HEC advisor, not to accept if I get offered a last minute seat based on the fact that my only options for clinicals will be whatever no one else wanted. She said I'll definitely be accepted for January and will have top choice of clinicals/instructors, so I'm happy waiting another four months to start. Who else is applying for the Spring 2019 program?
I literally feel like the girl in the exorcist when she projectile vomits on everything, but at every moment so far today. If my stomach could drop out of my body and onto the floor in front of my office desk it would. I know historically people dont get emails until the late afternoon, but why oh why do they have to make it so late D:i've been having these super irrational fears lately like "What if i never actually submitted my application properly?" or "What if I am missing some random requirement the whole time and didn't even know it?" Has anyone else had these? lol. I'm probably just whacky
I've been having the same irrational fears. I'm not afraid of rejection email...I'm afraid of the "ineligible" email for some unknown, random reason that I can't even fathom
I'll be doing nights, but I have no idea about what clinical sites are recommended/not so much. Does anyone have any more information? I was leaning towards Bay Pines for first but I'm not sure about the "more intrusive background screening" warning. I'm not worried about passing it but I'm not sure how large a hassle it would be. I was also leaning towards St Anthony's second, due to location convenience, mostly.

That has been for months! I keep feeling like I did something wrong, we just need to find out already!
