  1. Thanks for the clarification. I would just like to know one way or the other soon! You must be excited and relieved. My top picks were CDH, then NICU, PICU, and finally CVICU, but I would accept any job at the hospital.
  2. That is excellent! Congratulations! I’m glad you got your top pick. Until next week? Meaning through Tomorrow, Friday? Or actually into next week. Sorry, I am getting tense!
  3. Yeah, that is my deadline too. But I am still hoping. They do have a lot of people to contact and he knows how many they do per day. Not quite time to abandon hope.
  4. No call, no email today for me. I just want to know one way or the other.
  5. Congrats! Which day did you interview?
  6. Zilch. But it's all I can think about. I keep going over the interviews. It's enough to drive a person crazy.
  7. I meant I saw 35 people on the prep call. So maybe the interview 50 or so people total? I know it is driving me crazy as well, hard to concentrate. I alternate between feeling like I killed it and feeling like there’s no way I will get the job. I also interviewed for NICU, and probably stumbled the most in that interview, but not too badly. I prefer CDH over NICU, and tried to let that show. Really they are selecting us based on personality fit more than skills. It’s good that it is so competitive, because that’s how you know it is a great job! Hopefully will hear something next week but who knows. Based on other threads it looks like a week to a week and a half before people got responses. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
  8. I also got the feeling of mixed signals. One interview was just behavioral questions and fairly short, but they were nice. Another was fairly long, but I felt a little rougher doing it. My last interview seemed to go really well. Lots of members of the panel spoke to me. I feel like I talked too much during every interview. I guess that gives them plenty to go on! I counted about 35 people on the conference call. It looks like about 30-35 positions. Although who knows how many people they interview, how many people missed the call, and how many internal hires there are.
  9. Hi, I am interviewing on the 13th. Best of luck to you!
  10. I got in.
  11. No news here.
  12. I've had three patients with emergencies today - that still didn't take my mind off of the freakin' email!
  13. I'm frequently checking my email and dreaming up ways I can still go to school in January. Good luck everyone!
  14. Well, I'm ready to find out. I'll probably turn my spot down - I need surgery in December, and could use a little time to recover and earn some more money (not to mention free health insurance). I'll just reapply for the LPN-to-RN in the summer. I'd end up graduating at the same time, anyway, since if I were admitted in spring you can't go over the summer, but if you start in summer, you can. I'll just work my current nursing job for a few more months. Counseling says I'm at the top of the list for getting in the bridge, anyway, so I'm not really worried.
