Southwestern College ADN 2016

Published

Hello All,

I wanted to start this thread for those fellow applicants that applied for the Southwestern Community College Fall 2016 ADN Program. Not sure If this is a little late but I have yet to receive my notification regarding being invited or not for the program. As you can probably assume, I am extremely nervous right now and have been ever since I submitted my application. I've been in contact with Martha over there and she informed me that they were currently showing attention to the Step-Up program and they should be completed by this week. After completing their portion, the remainder of the letter will be sent out.

Has any one been offered a spot in the ADN program for the fall 2016 cohort yet?

Good luck to all! Keep in touch everyone!

6 weeks we should know!

Omg 6 weeks!!?? haha 6 weeks of agony!! haha

I wonder if I'll be getting my letter back at the same time as you guys! I'll take 6 weeks as opposed to all the late letters I read about in the old forums! :wideyed:

I know! haha I saw some people not hearing back even until late April. I also read that they work on LVN-RN programs first.

Oh wow cool. Thanks for the heads up :) & good luck to you!! Rooting for you guys!

My sister got her acceptance letter at swc March 12

Hi Everyone ! Just turned in my application Monday January 30!! Omg they make it so difficult, I was so confident i had everything right and ready but surprise! I didn't haha it was just a stupid slight difference in the date I had my TB quantifieron test done and the date my physician signed in the immunization form for SWC!!! So they took it and it was incomplete but I ran to my doctors and got it right I believe so I turned it in and I hope now Im complete!!! (at least they took it and said it was fine)

I believe I have anywhere between 80-86 points depending on whether they accept all those points or not.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU !!! I am also applying to Grossmont!!! I cant wait to get accepted now lol omg 2 months of waiting is a lot haha.

@tosco94 Haha I know right! Im also applying to Grossmont! and miracosta and palomar! What are your points for those colleges?

and @brandyP what was your sister's points?

72 for palamor, my sister had 72 for swc

@brandyP she got into to Palomar as well? Nice!!

I like palomar's new uniform haha

I'm not sure I do know that at least six people drop per year so even if you where an alternative you have a great possibility, however I believe your points are strong and you will be getting the letter of acceptance. you shouldn't stress @leighannqusmo you will be fine =)

I on the other hand keep seeing a lot of 80+ points and I have only 73 and I can't see anyone who got in with those points at swc on the forums since my sisters cohort =(
