Hi!! Just wanted to start a thread for those that applied for Southwestern College's Fall 2015 ADN Program. I'm so nervous to wait for March/April for the notices to come out. I'm a hit or miss ranking at 75 points. I'm a CNA with my Bachelor's in Health Science emphasis in Public Health from SDSU as well. Anyone else applied as well? Nervous? Hopefully this discussion keeps going =)
So, I had an appointment this morning to see what they needed and I did have all the items required for the application. All they needed clarified was the doctor's stamp and my CNA license. They weren't sure if the doctor's stamp was okay or if they needed his actual business card. In addition, they questioned if my CNA license I provided was good for the application since it expired in 2013. I told them that the application states that just as long as I had the license within the last five years that I would be good. She confirmed both those concerns with one of the nurses and I was cleared for both. So, @Adri.Knight1, just bring a copy of your application and documents with you so they can look over what they need clarified.
@dsmom
I'm assuming I'm in since I was already offered a space to begin with and since everything has been cleared. I still sent an e-mail confirming my acceptance anyway. I also sent an e-mail to see if they will send me another e-mail stating that I have the space offered without the word CONDITIONAL in it.
Wondering how they send rejection/acceptance letters because I received an email from Maria back on March 9th that they are working on these notifications and they hope to notify everyone between mid March and end of March. I'm concerned, however, because according to this feed... some folks have already received acceptance (congratulations by the way!! :) So do they only notify a few people at a time? I'm confused...
Hi guys, congrats to all of you that have been accepted into the program already. I bet that takes sooooo much weight off your shoulders...lol. I have a question to those that have been accepted. I applied for their LVN to ADN step up program. My points are sitting at about 70 to 72. What were your point totals? And do you think I have a chance of getting in with my sore. My teas score was 78 if that helps. I called them a few times and they keep pushing back the date for acceptance. Thanks guys...

I'd give a call or shoot them an email asking if they have received confirmation of your email that you accept admission.
