South University FNP MSN program???

So did anyone or is anyone currently in the FNP or Adult NP online program at this time? I spoke to an admissions rep and was really impressed. The set up is nice with one course at a time, although was told you can talk to your advisor and sometimes layer your courses here and there as well (like an 11wk course with one 5.5 wk course) which I'd prefer to do to get done faster...since I did my ASN at Excelsior and am finishing my BSN I'm well used to online format courses and have my time down to a science. I was planning on beginning my application process now, so that in December we submit everything with the potential to start the first week of Feb 2014...anyone else??? Any thoughts???

I am starting my first practicum in March, and thus far have enjoyed it. I have not had any bad instructors to date. Yes, the minimum grade to pass is a B.

I was told prior to admission to the program that South did not have any exams as part of the program. I'm currently in the Advanced Nursing Practice II class and have a 250 point exam in two weeks. Apparently this is the first class to do exams as I have not found anyone who has had an exam in this class.

Bornleader- I'm in (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) class. I was told no exams by my advisor. It's not a big deal for me, but I feel like that could be a deciding factor in choosing South for some.

I am fixing to start Advanced Health and Physical Assessment, and I have not had a test thus far. However, I do know that all the practicums have midterms and finals.

May I ask you , which campus are you going. I'm planning to apply at SU, I live in va beach, va. They have on campus and online . But I'm still deciding should I go SU online program or va beach campus. Can you tell me how's campus classes working for u? Is it lots work? Does have exams?

They put me in tampa fl but overall its still saying savannah,ga. Im fully online which is more feasible for me

Congrats Jay Jay! You're exactly where I expect to be in mid-September -- I'm starting my application but can't start till I finish my last 2 classes from the RN-BSN program this July. I really hope I get accepted and hopefully we can get a group of SU FNP students to support one another.
