Who can recommend a decent pair of shoes that won't kill my feet after standing/walking all night?

You won't believe this, I didn't either, but Dr. Scholl's from WalMart at $24.95 are the best I've ever had, even better than the $110.00 clogs I bought or all the Nikes, New Balances, and Reeboks. Since I have had these shoes, my feet have never throbbed after a long, busy shift!!!
Good luck.

Easy Spirits, I have horrible feet problems (suppose to have surgery but I refuse to do it) and they are wonderful.

I'm not sure if they come in white, but I bought a pair of Born shoes this fall. I wear street clothes to work and am on my feet all day. They are fabulous and well worth the cash I paid out! Best pair of shoes I have ever owned!
Thank you all!! Yes, the Birkenstocks have been great unfortnately my strap broke and I can't find anybody to repair them.

You really have to try a few and see what suits you. I use the regular reebok DMX walking shoes. Ive used Reebok for about 5 years and dont have the problem of having to put my shoes back on when i get home so i can walk. Can remember that pain. It took me about 3 or 4 brands to find one that suit me.

Gotta have good comfortable shoes.
If you want to get your birkenstocks repaired try this site.
I have ordered from them several times and they gave me great service.
I hope it's ok with the board rules that i have posted a link.

Oh thanks! I just wrapped up my sandals to send to this other place I found online at http://www.artnsole.net
It looks like they probably repair a lot of Birkenstocks. In the mean time I think I will go out and get a pair of the Dr. Scholl's. For $25 it's worth a shot!
