I'd fight it, especially because there could be some money in it for you.
Have you thought about trying to get a letter from the director of the nsg program to explain that nursing is a Science based program? Even if its already too late for you to be considered for the scholarship, maybe someone behind you will benefit from being included for scholarship.

Yup. That's what I was just told. Imagine that!!
I applied for a scholarship that you had to be in a science related field or math or engineering, or teaching. Got a letter back saying I did not qualify!
Funny, if I go on to get my Bachelors it WOULD BE A BSN- Bachelors of SCIENCE!! Hello!!
Never mind that I have taken EVERY science course offered at this school!
I think I am going to shoot off a letter to the committee and let them know, yes, nursing is a science!! I wonder where they were educated!
