Smith Chason School of Nursing

Published

Hi! I was checking to see if anyone has heard of this school. Any thoughts on this hybrid class. If anyone is applying for the October start date, feel free to send a message. Looking forward to meeting anyone who has or will be attending this school. thanks!

I looked at their website and only see an ADN program and an LVN/LPN program, but not an LVN-RN program. Did you have contact the school to get that info?

I was also looking into the school. It’s a 2 year ADN program. The program is 2 days a week of hybrid and lab/Clinicals every Friday. But when you apply, they request a copy of your LVN licensure. It’s a brand new program, but they’ve had the LVN program. The pass rate on the program is 94%. The Yelp review are 3.5 stars. They used to be under WCUI.

Hi, did you enrolled in this school? I check BON and they are accredited. I will give them a call in the morning to see how is the enrollment process. thank you

I’m in the process of enrolling. They need the TEAS test taken if it’s more than a year old. They need a copy of your LVN license, high school diploma, college transcripts, etc. cost is 75,000 without prerequisites removed. Just like any other school they may be a bit disorganized. Let me know if you enroll. Where are you from?

My sister in law goes to Nightingale College but she is in Vegas she’s half way through with the program and had good things to say. I am looking into smith chason I was accepted into mt sac psych tech program but it’s been continuously delayed due to covid and I thought I could go do six more months and have my RN. I already have an AS in psychology so I’m hoping to have them accepted I did not see nightingale on the approved program list though

I did talk to Nightingale, I have an appointment with smith chason today. I’m leaning towards to Nightingale, it’s less expensive and it’s bachelors degree. Smith Chason is too expensive.

The only thing about nightingale is that the rep doesn’t answer my emails

@Teejay323 Cool! where are you from?
