Hello,
I will be starting at Smith Chason School of Nursing on 10/2022 and wanted to see if anyone else is starting around that date? I have transferred all my prerequisites and that is why I am starting until October. Anyone out there who is already going to this school and has any feedback or anything they want to mention? I am a little anxious :}

I am interested in this school and in the process of enrollment and I was wondering if you can share your experience with the admission process. The program is 76K with all the prerequisites done how much does is decrease the cost? Is the interview difficult? Any feedback would be appreciated, Thanks.
Hi @Sab86
I ended up not enrolling into the program. I was very disappointment with the school when they were making me sign a contract with different information from what I was told by the representative and financial aid office. For example, since I was done with all my prerequisites, I was going to start on October 2022, but in the contract it said I was starting on April 2022. Financial Aid office told me my total tuition would be $49,000 because I was done with all the prerequisites and the contract said my tuition was $76,000. I told them why the contract had different information and I was told that because "they had to submit the documents to CA Board of Nursing." I told her I can not sign a document that had different information from what I was told if they can give me a separate contract so that can cover me and they did not want to. It said on the contract if I wanted to cancel after starting I had 7 days after the start day to cancel I could get full reimbursement. Well If I was starting on October 2022, I had to cancel by April something. That was my experience with Smith Chason and hopefully others do not go through something like that. The interview was very easy and straightforward. Like why you want to go to that school, etc. Thank god I got accepted into a LACCD nursing program and will be starting this coming Fall 2022. Good luck in your journey.
Thanks so much for the information, yes I would be apprehensive if they try something like that, its a lot of money. Thanks again, Congrats on your acceptance to LACCD and good luck on your journey in Nursing school.
