Hey guys, I have not yet seen a thread for the SJSU Spring 2018 Nursing Program... so I decided to make one! Personally, I will be taking an AHA BLS for Health Care Providers course with this place:

San Jose BLS Renewal - Lowest Price in Santa Clara County

They are certified with American Heart Association. It's $60 for the class, and $20 for an AHA BLS book, but you can get it on Amazon for less than $15.

@Murse_Daniel I did mine with the American Red cross but it really doesn't matter. Just make sure it is listed as being for for Health Care professionals

is this the pricing with your insurance or is it general pricing for Kaiser?

This is with my insurance, but you should ask with your insurance if you dont have kaiser.

Is anybody else struggling to buy the Liability Insurance? I've been trying to sign up but ti wont let me put in my credit card information/there is no page to put in credit card information.

Don't pay for your insurance too soon. Again, you don't want anything to expire during the school year. Wait until the end of December

I just got my drug screening test done and I noticed that there is no document submission button on CastleBranch? How are we supposed to send in our results?

If you did your test at quest diagnostics then your results should automatically upload to Castle Branch after a few days

Im trying to get the Liability Insurance through NSO like it says on the nursing website. Its asking for "area of study". What did you guys put, whoever did the insurance already? Because none of the options seems to fit....

It takes awhile for the credit card section to load. From my understanding, Area of Study select Registered Nurse and under Status select student. Also, you are able to select when you want the policy to begin.

1) I also struggled with purchasing the NSO insurance. When it comes to the pay and review page, nothing showed up. Has anyone successfully purchased it yet? Who do we contact if we can't purchase it?

2) Anyone know where to get good and decently priced scrubs? I know they didn't send us the list yet, but I was told the one the school recommends has poorer quality.
