SJSU Spring 2018

Hey guys, I have not yet seen a thread for the SJSU Spring 2018 Nursing Program... so I decided to make one! I know it's a little early to start posting, but I am too excited and wanted to meet others that are applying! Here is a thread for all questions/concerns/comments! Hope to see and meet you all!!

It takes awhile for the credit card section to load. From my understanding, Area of Study select Registered Nurse and under Status select student. Also, you are able to select when you want the policy to begin.

Am I going to the wrong part of the site... there is no Registered Nurse option for me...

Nevermind, I figured it out, just sent in my application for NSO.

So I didn't realize that the TB test can't expire during the semester, so my results got rejected because I did it on dec 4. I already rescheduled another test for December 18th. However, I logged on to castlebranch today and the Tb status changed from REJECTED to COMPLETED. There is still a note though that says to submit a report with the correct date, but there is no option to re-upload a document. Im confused, why did it change to COMPLETED and how do I upload my new test if there is no option to....

So our compliance manager went in to the system and overrode the rejection since it is current that's why it says completed now. She recommends to do another tb test in the summer just to make sure it doesn't expire next semester and risk missing clinicals.

for me I couldn't even enter the NSO website after clicking apply =_= it keeps saying loading every time but wouldn't load x-x.

Nvm I found out it only worked in "incognito mode" for me, and I was able to buy it without any problem

Whew, all my castlebranch stuff is complete! Cant wait for the semester to start, and meet all of you!

Has anyone received any follow-up emails regarding course materials and/or info on the orientation? They were supposed to email us at the end of December.

I only received an email regarding a HESI fee. not really sure what it is, but it says in the email it will be further explained at orientation.

Hi all! For the instruments that we purchase from mdfinstruments.com do we purchase all of the stethoscopes that was listed in the email?

I believe you only need to buy 1 stethoscope. I don't think we will need all 3 of them e-e. But the problem is which should I choose LOL...
