SJSU Fall 2014

Hi there! I started this topic since I couldn't find any threads for SJSU fall 2014 applicants. Care to share your GPA, TEAS scores, and impaction scores to get a better idea of the competition this season?

My stats are:

GPA (for 5 prerequisites): 3.95

TEAS: 90.7%

Impaction: 7.89

Ah thanks! Just the prereq GPA? Then my impaction score would be 8.09

Also, does anyone know when we should be hearing about acceptance?

I think we should hear late march-early April. The advising slides say that we should get our notice within 5-6 weeks after the due date.

They start mailing on the 28th/29th of April.

It says on the advising slides. But if you keep scrolling, they have a different date that states 5-6 weeks. So, I'm not fully sure when they will send the letters out. But I really think it's late April.

not too late, those are great scores! I wonder what the impaction score minimum will be to be accepted this year...does anyone know if it's easier to get in Spring semester, maybe less people apply then?

Dang that's so late. Isn't the deadline for submitting our intent to enroll may 1? I'm a transfer btw, and I've barely gotten any letters from the schools I've applied to so the angst is killing me. T_T

Hi all! I've been following this thread for a while but have been to shy to post my stats.

GPA- 3.9

TEAS- 3.7

Impaction score- 7.6

I hope I have a chance! SJSU isn't my first choice but still would love to hear an acceptance from somewhere after already receiving 3 denial letters from other schools :( pretty discoursing but trying to stay positive!

I hope we all get in together!

You are scaring me moonbeam lady! What do you mean you you were denied! With those stats? What? That is just plain ridiculous! My stats are similar to yours. Sigh.. I really do hope we get accepted. Yeah and like you said just stay positive , I'll try to do the same ....

Erika01- thanks for the encouragement! I know, it's really frustrating that nursing is so impacted right now and that even after such hard work it doesn't seem to pay off. I also have over 200 hours of volunteer experience at Childrens hospital Oakland and am certified CNA and still was denied :( Err but like you said trying to stay positive.

I'm really crossing my fingers for either CSUEB or SFSU so I don't have to move but SJSU would be fantastic as well.

I'm putting positive vibes out there for both of us!
