@mrkcs I know some people that applied for peds acute/ critical care and they did not receive an email of interest last week but I think someone else on this thread did? So not sure! UGh, that's so dissapointing to hear that someone received an email for official interview for L&D last week...still no additional email for me. I hope they continue to send them out this week too!! Fingers crossed for us all.

@LDNurseOB1 Yes same with me, received the interest email on 7/31 and haven't heard anything regarding an interview yet. I'm also assuming the interest was for L&D, as I precepted in that area but my second choice was NICU. I hope we all find out soon about our status! So anxious, just want to know one way or another.

@chocolatebuns Do you know if people were getting emails for L&D or maternity ( postpartum) I haven't received any notification since the email about them being interested... Hoping we all receive good news early this week

@L&D minion I'm not sure if they sent that interview out to all the candidates they will interview or not. Maybe it depends on units too? I applied to L&D and NICU and got the email 7/31. I hope we find out tomorrow! I totally understanding because nervous, this is a difficult process! Wishing everyone best of luck :)

Thanks for posting this, very helpful as I didn't see it was posted on their site yet! Sounds like they will only be doing one interview this time then

@danielle:) I know, this whole process is nerve wracking. I recevied my email this Monday the 31st. I think some other people on this thread had received it the previous Friday. So I'm not sure exactly.

Lucile Packard RN Residency September 2017
Hi all! Thanks for starting this thread, I'm excited ( and a bit nervous) for all of us. I did not get a personality test, I don't think it's included anymore, or at least not in this part of the application process. I also received the email that the hiring team is "highly interested in my application", so the waiting game continues!

CSUEB fall 2014 RN applicant
Hi! I remember how terrifying the waiting period was, but remember you still have months and months and before finding out so even though I know it's hard, try to just relax, I know harder said than done but it really is pointless to worry your self sick, as you won't find out until May or even later, I wish I would of done the same Teas- 87 Science GPA 3.9 Overall pre req GPA- I think 3.85 Overall GPA 3.7 Medical work experience- no Second language- no ( did have 4 semesters Spanish but didn't count this because but fluent, or at least I didn't try because said had to he fluent) Good luck!

I got in!!! Ahh!! Just got my acceptance letter- I was in middle section of waitlist! I can't believe I heard back so soon!! Now to pick which campus to request- concord or Hayward!? They are about equal distances from my house! Tough choice! Any advise would be amazing! I'm so excited I'll be joining all of you who are already accepted!! And to those of you on wait list- don't give up hope, I bet you will get in too!

CSUEB fall 2014 RN applicant
Ok thank you so much!! I really appreciate your encouragement!! I won't get too nervous if I don't hear anything until July then.. Just seems hard to plan anything this summer if I don't know if/when orientation will be... I guess they understand this and may have more than one orientation? Also do you know how long you have after your accepted to do background check/ drug test etc? Just trying to plan a few trips but it's hard in this land of limbo! Also do you know what schedule is usually like the first quarter? San Jose's program is m-f and wondering if CSUEB will be about same.. Sorry for all the questions but you are a great resource and I really appreciate it! Thank you!

Thank you so much for your encouragement!! I'm waitlisted- in the middle section and it's a very hard place to be, but staying positive and hoping I have a decent shot!! I've accepted my offer at San Jose state in case I don't get accepted of the waitlist at CSUEB. Do you remember when you found out you got off the waitlist? Just trying to get a general sense of how long I could be waiting.. Thanks again!!!
