Hi everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for the people who are applying to San Joaquin Delta College's nursing program for FALL 2016 cohort. I know the application period is still a month away but I'm just so excited. I still need to take my TEAS. Maybe we can all get to know each other and compare scores?

Hi guys.. I'm really confused, I though the application will be opened only in Feb. but you guys applied in March!! On the website says that the last day to apply is April 7th by 4 pm. That is the same day as my teas test ! I was planning to apply in September, but I wonder if I can apply for this semester now ?!! I will probably know my score the same day by noon then I have 3 hours to apply. I wonder if thats going to work out

The application was delayed. The Teas score is instant so if you take your test and can get the application in by 4pm then you can apply

There were problems with the Delta application so it was delayed almost 2 months. You will be able to apply after you take the teas because you will have your score before you leave the testing site! I would start the application now and have everything filled in except the teas portion. Save the application, and on the day of your teas just go back and fill in your score and submit the app. This will save you tons of time. Good luck!

Got additional 2 confirmation emails yesterday that were exactly the same as the one I got a few days after submitting the app.. why do they make me so excited to see an email for nothing ;))

Questions:

1. Does anyone know why there are 2 confirmation emails?

2. Can anyone see whether there are any differences between these 2 emails?

I just want to make extra sure there's not something I'm missing...

I got a total of 3 confirmation emails. One a few days after I applied and the two right in a row just recently. They are all identical. Im not surprised..they seem to be so unorganized, Ive given up on trying to figure out what anything they do means. The app was supposed to close yesterday and it still open. I wonder if that means that will prolong the process even more now.

Hahaha!!![emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]...I wasn't surprised either! I feel indifferent about this whole situation now smh! This is supposed to be an exciting time and I kinda feel robbed of that due to their complete lack of organization among other things!

I know what you mean! I either think they should stop making people feel like if they make tiny mistakes on paperwork or an application they shouldnt be nurses, or start living up to their own high standards. I agree that care should be taken not to make mistakes on something as important as the app, however I am just saying you can't be unorganized and flaky and then expect perfection from the students..ok rant over! I guess I am a little bitter about them bursting my "excited to apply to nursing school bubble". Very disappointing

Hello! Does anyone know how long we have to submit our transcripts and additional paperwork after we've been "invited" to submit our documents?

Also, does being "invited" also mean that a spot is now reserved for the ADN Program? I heard someone saying on here that even if you are invited, it doesn't necessarily mean a spot has been reserved for you. Sounds strange, any thoughts?
