Hey everyone! I didn’t see a thread for this year but I wanted to start one for this fall! I applied to Sierra College yesterday, has anyone else applied yet?

I am number 29 on the application list. I hand delivered it. Waiting for that acceptance email ?

@scorpiodez I emailed the nursing department directly asking if we’ll hear by the end of March. The response to me was “within the first 2 weeks of April.” So, it was only sent to me.

As far as I know Sierra college is closed due to corona virus precautions. This is probably delaying everything.

dont expect them to give us answers as quickly as last year. Last year their application period was open from 02/01-04/15 that’s two and a half months of them continually working and checking applications to see who qualifies. So they were checking them off as the go. Now everyone turned their application in just 28 days that’s why they are “crazy” over there right now.

I did too! What time did you apply? My kids have been home from school the past few days so it’s helping keep me busy now! I was going stir crazy the last 2 weeks!

I was #2 ?? so it's been a LONGGGGG wait! I applied the Monday it opened. I had my 3rd baby on 2/6 so I needed to apply as soon as it opened so I didn't accidentally miss it.

I think it’s so sad that those who don’t get accepted don’t even get a rejection response. Le sigh... ?

The counselor who helped last year said they had everyone picked and notified by the first week after apps closed so I have been on edge and every time my email goes off I panick a bit in anticipation. Ugh!
