  1. Hi y’all! I received my accepted the evening of the 2nd for the Fall and sent in my declination on the 12th. I got into a program closer to home so at least housing will be a ton easier! CONGRATS and good luck to whoever received my spot! Cheers! ~Shelly
  2. Thank you for sharing. June 1st feels so far away but hey, what else do we have to do besides wait? Ha! take care, y’all!
  3. Anyone receive anything yet? Today is exactly 8 weeks from application deadline and I’ve checked my email a few times but nothing yet.
  4. I submitted my forms and had a question in my email which she responded to. I’m so freaking excited!! ? @Samantha castillo Yes, I think a private fb group would be great. Connecting with the cohort and communicating through the program will be to our advantage.
  5. @preetk21 Were you at the Chamberlain info session a week or so ago? If so, Don’t forget Delta College is still accepting applications! I also applied to ARC but Sierra is my top choice. So, you can consider my name taken out of the pot (as well as another friend of mine)—two less contenders for a spot! Good luck!
  6. I WAS ACCEPTED!! ??? I’m @shelltown on Instagram for the other folks that got accepted. Let’s get connected! ? To everyone else, you know what you have to do: keep your head up, wait for ARC, keep applying. Much love to you all! ~Michelle
  7. @Samantha castillo I applied there as well and my application status has not changed from “received” since 2/21.
  8. OMG, this string of emails from y’all made my heart drop. ? I didn’t receive anything today. Anxiety level ?X?‼️
  9. Hey y’all hope you’re well and safe and isolating. ? I’ve been a selfish, nervous nelly about admissions due to the pandemic & had to get an update on the notification status for us. I was told over the phone that notifications will go out early next week. If you don’t hear by the end of the week, you can email and she’ll give you your number in line after the 10th alternate. Best of luck to us all! ?
  10. @scorpiodez I emailed the nursing department directly asking if we’ll hear by the end of March. The response to me was “within the first 2 weeks of April.” So, it was only sent to me.
  11. Hey guys, We can all keep holding our breath for a few more weeks— I’m copying and pasting the response: “You should expect an email within the first 2 weeks of April.“ Let’s hope it doesn’t come on April Fool’s Day to further spin our heads out of control.?? ??‍♀️
  12. SAME! I was SO nervous to read the emails! I saw a few nursing students on campus today and asked them if they knew anything about it or where they’re at. They didn’t & said they found out the day after the enrollment period (4/16), they were surprised to hear the enrollment period changed but suggested sending an email to the nursing department. I haven’t wanted to because I don’t want to be a pest but at their suggestion, I just did. I asked if we could expect to see an email any day or by the end of the month. I’ll be sure to share the answer I receive with y’all here if/when I get it. ??
  13. Same! Knowing they notified the day after admissions closed last year raises my anxiety to level 100! I checked my email *at least* 12 times on Friday. I need some serious meditation time to calm my nerves. I also applied to ARC, SF City and just started the application process with Chamberlain. I may also submit for Delta College but since I have old science repeats & they don’t have a recency requirement, it’s a slim chance with them. Sierra is my first choice but I wish I had more to apply to.
  14. Hopefully the earlier deadline resulted in less applications. ??We need the best odds we can get!
  15. I’ve checked my email at least a dozen times today. Knowing that they sent notifications a day after the enrollment period last year, I’ve been so anxious. This wait is killing me. I think it’s so sad that those who don’t get accepted don’t even get a rejection response. Le sigh... ?
