Hey guys! I didn't see a thread for applicants for Sam Houston State University BSN Fall 2019, so I decided to make one. I am in the process of making my NursingCAS application.
My Stats:
Teas Overall: 86%
Math: 93.8%
Reading: 85.1%
Overall GPA: 3.5
Pre-Nursing GPA (according to GPA calculator on shsu website) : 3.5
I do have credits from SHSU, and I also took MATH 1370. I am not a licensed CNA, although I did take the course.
I know from the previous threads I’ve read that multiple “rounds” of acceptances go out. The first is the for sure made it in then they wait to see how many don’t reply/choose to decline acceptance and from there they send out more acceptances and waitlist then denials once those people accept or decline but everyone should know one way or another by the 15th. I’m in summer semester classes to prepare to apply for spring if I don’t get accepted because from what I’ve seen I’m likely to be alternate or denied this round but praying for a miracle.
Does anyone know at what time they usually send out acceptances? I noticed that for the past two years for the Fall applications they've been told on a Wednesday ( 6/7/17 & 6/6/18) so I've been so excited all day lol
I’m thinking it will be tomorrow or Monday. I looked last year and people began hearing on Friday and Monday. Hoping we don’t have to wait the weekend. It is what it is. We will know by the end of next week for sure.
