I joined so I could show you too!
This is our current dogs. We adopted Duke in 2009 when his family hd to sell their house and move to an apartment. We adopted Pearl three years later not long after Sasha dies. They already had their names. A young man who works at the supermarket though we named them after Dule Ellington and Pearl Bailey!

This beautiful girl of known as "The Princess" (The Golden) We got her for an exhorbitant amount of money about 8 mos before Lily passed away. She has also been a great dog She almost 14 years old now and so gray. The fimal picture is Diana we think she about 3 years old. best guess is a spaniel/corgie mix though there might be basenji in there too as she yodels and tries to climb trees. We got her a year ago as an adoption. She had been adopted and abandoned 3 times over and was scheduled yo be eauthanized as unadoptable. I took one look at that face and decided to give her a chance very lovable dog but has lots of negative behavior Related to past abuse.

This is my little guy, Gimli. He is a mutt, obviously - pit, dachshund, possibly corgi in there. Who knows. He is super smart and adores my husband and me. Someone dumped him around age 1 out in the country. A rescue got him out of the kill shelter and we got him out of the rescue. He's been ours for a couple of years now and he makes me laugh every single day. Our vet estimates he is 2 years old.
I also have a cat, Layla. I only have one picture of her here at work for some reason. Gimli is scared of Layla. Layla likes Gimli as long as he doesn't touch her, look at her or otherwise try to engage her. She misses him when we travel and take him with us, but otherwise wants nothing to do with him. She's neurotic and I love her so. She was my 40th birthday gift from my husband, so going on 10 years old. I hope she lives to a very old age.
What fuzzy friends have you got that make your heart happy?

Look at his paw on my foot! Silly boy. It was 3:30 AM. He wanted to play.

My Layla-bug. She is a sweetheart, though really only to me. A "one person cat" you might say. She tolerates my husband but comes and cuddles with me.
