Hi Guys,
I am supposed to take my exam on Tues 7/28 and I'm totally freaking out!! I have been using kaplan, Saunders, exam cram and nclex 3500 but mostly kaplan. My score for the trainers were
q1 72
q2 55
q3 50
q4 59
q5 60 and I just finished q6 just to end up with another 60%!!! at this point i am beyond frustrated and sooo scared to fail that i am about to have a brkdown. My scores for qbank vary from 49-76 and on the others I score mostly 65-75. I really don't know what to do, I just checked Pearson and there's a spot open for 08/06 but I am not sure I should change it, my sister is coming to visit next weekend from paris with her little boy and I'm sure i won't study as much with them around...on the other hand, she won't be here until Sunday so it gives me about 5 more days right??:uhoh3: Sorry if am rambling..I just need advice before it's too late...Thx 4 reading

you guys aren't the only ones. i'm getting depressed with the scores myself. i just couldn't make the 65% mark. unless i repeat the trainers then eventually i end up getting a 90% above.lol
Maman2zoe,, i've also used exam cram and have been getting better scores on that one. but if i were in your shoes and can reschedule on the 6th, i would grab it. the free ones i have in my area doesn't come earlier than 08/15 and that's wayyy behind for me but i wish i could re-schedule too ='(
oh and yeah. i got a 60% on both trainers 5 and 6 too. i still haven't done trainer 7 but i bet i'll be even more depressed because that's a 265 items. more brain damaging.lol

I had 60% right out of the first 20 questions. I dion't think I am ready for Friday
To all of you, if you get 60% or more you will pass. I get 40-50s in the first three. I am studying before taking them again and go until 7

For question trainers 6 and 7, the goal is at least 60%. So... you are actually within range of passing even according to Kaplan. Take your readiness when you can and see where you are. Here are my question trainer scores:
1) 52%
2) 64%
3) 55%
4) 61%
5) 56%
6) 64%
7) 61%
Do you see how low they tend to be? My readiness test was 71%. You wouldn't have guessed that looking at my q bank or question trainers. (And your q bank scores were higher than mine!) Review your question trainers before taking the readiness. I don't believe it's too late for you at all!!

Don't reschedule!!! Honestly, who's prepared for the big day? Just go for it and let me tell you why.
- the longer you wait, the more stuff you gonna forget
- the longer you wait, you'll be more anxious
- the longer you wait, you'll have more stress seeing your classmates passing and start thinking "What ifs"
Kaplan is good because the its format is exactly the same with NCLEX. I did very well on Kaplan. Question trainer 6 - 69%, trainer 7 - 75%. Did it really help me on NCLEX? Not quite. I wasn't able to use its strategies at all during the exam. I would suggest you to review INFECTION CONTROL and FUNDAMENTALS SKILLS before you big day. Although you scored below 60s, always remember that you have 85% passing on the first try. Don't study at all tomorrow and spend time with your family I suggest. Good luck and come back and post after you passed!

I had 62% on QTrainer 6 and 50% on QTrainder 7 and passed NCLEX with 75 questions on the first try.
In fact, there were some questions on my NCLEX that were very similiar to the ones I had done in Kaplan's Qbank.
I wouldnt reschedule. The longer you wait, the more anxious you will be.

Your scores look pretty good, good enough to walk in with the confidence for exam. My scores were qt6 =67, qt7=60. I passed with 75 questions. Good luck!

Good Luck on your test! I felt the same thing before taking my NCLEX-PN, I actually almost re-schedule it several times, but regardless of what we do, we will never feel ready for it... at least that's what I felt... Just follow your heart and trust yourself... You should be fine...
