  1. I'm sure you passed. Mine shut down at 75 and had similar topics with yours. I had 9 SATAs, no math, and lots of priorities plus OBs. I didn't know how I made it but you should pass.
  2. So far 3 out of 3. My classmates and myself tried PVT after taking the NCLEX this week and we all passed. This is 100% true!!!
  3. Don't reschedule!!! Honestly, who's prepared for the big day? Just go for it and let me tell you why. - the longer you wait, the more stuff you gonna forget - the longer you wait, you'll be more anxious - the longer you wait, you'll have more stress seeing your classmates passing and start thinking "What ifs" Kaplan is good because the its format is exactly the same with NCLEX. I did very well on Kaplan. Question trainer 6 - 69%, trainer 7 - 75%. Did it really help me on NCLEX? Not quite. I wasn't able to use its strategies at all during the exam. I would suggest you to review INFECTION CONTROL and FUNDAMENTALS SKILLS before you big day. Although you scored below 60s, always remember that you have 85% passing on the first try. Don't study at all tomorrow and spend time with your family I suggest. Good luck and come back and post after you passed!
  4. I'm 28. Just passed the boards yesterday.
  5. Another attestation. It really worked!!! I passed!!! Good luck to all!
  6. Hi all, I took the NCLEX-RN in NYC this morning and shut down at 75. Got home, tried the "trick" and got the pop up screen about contacting the BON. Tried twice already and got the same message. So far a friend of mine tried it on Tues and got the same message found out that she passed today. Crossing my fingers that it really works! Will keep you all posted and attest if I passed or failed.
  7. Get rid of your significant other! Just kidding. Exercise and stay healthy. You'll need a good stamina in clinical rotations.
  8. Hi Tasha, I'm currently a nursing student at BMCC and I can certainly give you some insights about the program. It seems like you already know a lot about the pre-reqs and no need for me to go in further. I was accepted two semesters ago with 3.84 for the evening program and the cut off was 3.7. It varies each semester but 3.8 is usually a sure in for both day and evening program. Try your best to ace those 4 pre-reqs but it's not the end of the world to get 3 As and 1 B+. Now let's talk about BMCC nursing program itself. The first semester which is the Fundamentals is really really hard. It's designed to weed out so-so students but they do this with good intent. The mentality is if you're not cut out for nursing it's better to know soon than later. Imagine you used up all your chances for the last semester and ended up not graduating. Each semester would just get harder and harder. But this shouldn't discourage you from being what you want to be. My advice is if you get in, please choose the day program if you have a choice. It's not easier but you have more time to study and less stress from tight schedules and from work. People think nursing is easy is wrong. Sometimes I feel like I'm medical school rather. But no pain no gain. BMCC preps student really good for NCLEX and they do have a high passing % comparing to other schools. My colleague is actually following my path and start slow. She's taking the pre-reqs now. You won't know until you try. Good luck and let me know if you have more specific questions.
  9. I'm still a nursing student but currently work in an outpatient clinic as an administrator. I've been called "doc" many times. The funniest thing is I don't even wear scrubs at work!
  10. Asthma is a big thing in peds. Teaching on how to use an inhaler would be great and life saving.
