We were given a deck of cards for "hospital" week. They don't do nurses week, or day. I think it was disgusting and rude of administration, but my husband thinks it's hilarious. Am I just a crusty old bat? Lord knows I'm old enough to qualify.

My husband? Didn't even ask what was going on. Took no interest when I played all the YouTube videos on it. Had a blank stare when telling him about it. That's it.
The reason this bothers me so much? I'm working private duty out of crushing anxiety and fear of returning to floor Nursing. And let me tell you, I am miserable about doing this job. I miss floor nursing, but will absolutely not return until/unless these facilities get their act together and politicians put down their cards and do their jobs.
I understand the Senator was speaking about very small community hospitals. But it shows, very glaringly, the lack of understanding among politicians what we do (the very people we need to understand our jobs.)
So the fact that my husband didn't even care enough to really listen to me....I'd say that's a divorce-able offense. Bc it shows his lack of caring period.
Wow, I must have been really mad when I wrote that post. Lol
