I believe you need to know your meds to pass this exam.

you should concentrate on prioritization and know the procedure , infection and signs and symptoms for the SATA.

sent you an email
we know that beta blockers end in lol once you see a med with those letters at the end you know its a beta blocker and not to give it to asthma/copd pts or to be careful with a pt with diabetes.
or anti-psychotics / neuroleptics
end in "ine"
thorazine
inapsrine
olanzepine
once you know the category, try to know the side effects, what foods they can eat, best time meds is taken and what to teach pt..you will be able to answer questions, that way.....
Thanks Diana I got the email..

I highly suggest feuer audio review for pharmacology which comes with the booklet.
Kenya has explained everything in such a simple way which will make pharmacology much easier.
Good luck

I just took my pn exam yesterday and I had one calculation problem. I had quite a few questions on medications in general if you learn the prefixes and suffixes that will help alot so you have a general idea what the medications is used for.
