I bought Dansko clogs from www.lydiasuniforms.com and they are very comfortable so far. They are abit more expensive though. The ones I bought were $104.00 plus tax. I also have Rockers Durolight Ultra Clogs from www.jascouniform.com and they are $24.99 plus tax.

Which Dansko's did you buy? I find my Danskos kill my baby toes and it makes for a horrible 12 hours if I wear them. I don't have wide feet, not narrow either and this is the first time I've had problems with shoes. I hate them!

NewBalance for me. Usually wait until there's a sale and by two pairs, so good for about a year.

Do you work 8 or 12 hour shifts? They don't support my feet for 12 hours.

Jen, the Danskos that I bought are the Professional 006 in white. They are the full shoes and they do not have straps so maybe that's why they do not hurt my little toe. However the top of my foot is a bit high so it was hurting me there a bit at first but they are fine now. Try these without the straps.

Jen,

Have you tried J. Rubio clogs? They really help my feet and back, been wearing them about 6 years, love them. At http://www.jrubio.us

You're right, they do rub the top of the foot a bit. I find that if I walk just a couple blocks in them, they're fine by the time I get to work. They loosen up a little more each time you wear them. However, wearing them for a 45 min walk thru Central Park was a mistake. I find they're good for the type of walking I do on the floor, but not city walking.

Yeah Elizabells, my Danskos hurt the top of my foot at the end of the day like around 2 in the evening. I work 12 hr shifts 7-7. Maybe it's because our feet swell at the end of the day, I don't know

Mine are the same shoes you have, no straps. Thanks though

Easy Spirits are the most comfortable shoes I have found to wear, and many of the nurses I used to work with love them and swear by them as well!

Nurse mates killed my feet, but the easy spirits are so nice!

JCPenneys sells them, or you can order them online. They arent priced that bad.

Make sure you find good ones, your feet will thank you for it!

I agree with your Meaghan, most Nurse Mates tend to hurt your feet. I had two pairs and I wasn't that happy with them. I will try a pair of Easy Spirits.

12 hours, four days a week mostly.

new balance for me. I love them because they are wide in the toe have great arch surport and are sooooooo comfy. Some travel nurses come thru with Zcoil. I tried them on it they felt weird and one nurse said she got a wire stuck in them once and nearly killed herself.
